IATF AXE THROWING TOURNAMENTS

There are many opportunities to compete for axe throwers with the IATF that culminate with the International Axe Throwing Championship (IATC) in early summer. The IATF supports multiple events year round for all levels of competition and different styles of throwing to provide many opportunities for throwers to compete in exciting and unique events on their path to participation in The Wilson Cup at IATC!

The IATF League Qualification Period runs from March to March each year.

The IATF Integrated Tournament Circuit was announced in July 2023. The circuit consists of endorsed member tournaments that are categorized into tiers: Majors, Grand Slams, and the International Axe Throwing Championship. The top 4 finishers from Grand Slams will be guaranteed a spot in Rounds 1 & 2 of the Wilson Cup. The winner of Majors will be guaranteed a spot in Rounds 1 & 2 of the Wilson Cup. IATF clubs may host any and all styles of tournament throughout the year (Standard, Premier, Big Axe, Marathon, or other creative formats), whether they are part of the Integrated Circuit or not, with approved tournaments reflected in the calendar below. Tournaments that are included in the Integrated Circuit are listed as Majors or Grand Slams.
