After an exciting growth in competition in 2022, the IATF is excited to announce the itinerary for the 2023 International Axe Throwing Champions. This years line-up features new tournaments that allow players of all skill levels to join and participate in this global competition, a return of some favorite competitions and of course the hallmark tournament that celebrates the glory of champions.
Each year thousands of axe throwers around the world work hard to compete for placement in the International Axe Throwing Championships - a yearly competition that celebrates the best of the best! Only 256 players will make it through to round 2 and only 32 have the honor of competing against the undisputed best axe throwers in the world for the ultimate prize and glory - the Wilson Cup.

- We have relaunched the IATF shopify store to bring all registration and ticket sales inhouse and to save you the 6% Eventbrite management fees.
- IATF shopify store can only operate in one currency. We have launched it as USD because the IATF operates globally and that is the accepted international currency.
- We have listed an approximate CAD value but be aware that this may change as exchange rates fluctuate and we will not be updating them to reflect daily changes.
- That being said, IATF Shopify store will convert to your local currency while you shop, no matter what country you are in. The exchange rate will reflect the actual exchange rate at the time of purchase.
- Prom and Homecoming tickets have launched with Early Bird pricing that will be in effect until April 30, 2023. Regular pricing will begin on May 1. There will be no other sales or discounts offered.
- We know both days are going to be a blast and are only made better with all of you there to enjoy it so we have provided a package deal for Prom + Homecoming at a discounted rate.

HOMECOMING

Homecoming is an all day spectator party held on-site at the Wilson Cup Finals. Here’s what to look forward to on Sunday:
- Doors will open at 10:00AM.
- Spectators can start watching the Wilson Cup Finals at 11:00AM live inside or outside in one of our viewing tents equipped with large flat-screen TVs so you don’t miss any of the heart pounding action.
- The Wilson Cup Finals will finished around 3:00PM. The Global Versus Showdown will start around 4:00PM and run for approximately 90 minutes.
- The Love And Axes Charity Raffle Draw will happen at Homecoming after the conclusion of the Global Versus Showdown.
- Last year over 500 spectators attended finals and had a blast. This year’s capacity has been increased to 700 people with the indoor and outdoor space combined.
- A large outdoor bar serving ice cold cans all day from 10:00AM. The indoor bar will also be open and serving refreshments at 10:00AM.
- Multiple large tents to provide shade or shelter from the elements.
- Outdoor games to keep you entertained between matches.
- Cherry St BBQ serving delicious treats all day long. Sumo Seafood and Gangster Cheese food trucks will be on site from 2:00PM to 6:00PM for the dinner rush. The ice cream truck will also be back!
- Axe Market is moving from Stockyards to Homecoming this year! Keep an eye on our socials for vendor announcements.
- No dress code! June in Toronto is typically hot, but can be unpredictable. Check the forecast before you decide your ensemble.
- Homecoming will be an entirely cashless event.
